camp pavillion extension
Construction has begun on the addition to the camping pavilion. We are adding 20 feet to the existing structure to have more room for the cooking area. We anticipate having it completed in time to use for the upcoming FCF Trace in January.
A native of Virginia, I left home for Bible College in Florida, went on to Georgia to work on my Masters of Religious Education. I came to Louisiana to attend New Orleans Baptist Seminary to earn my Educational Sepcialist and work towards my Doctorate of Education. After finishing my seminar work, I served as Christian Education director at West Monroe First Assembly for two years before becoming pastor of Central Assembly of God in Baton Rouge. After pastoring almost 14 years, I was selected to be the district commander for Louisiana Royal Rangers where I have served for 23 years. This year is my 43rd year serving as a Royal Ranger leader. My first position was as a Buckaroo Commander at First Assembly of God while I was still in Bible College in Florida. After that I became the Trailblazer commander at a new home missions church in Atlanta Georgia. After coming to Louisiana, I became district training coordinator for 16 years while I was at West Monroe and while I pastored in Baton Rouge. During that time I was regional training coordinator for several years before becoming district commander. It is a joy to serve the Lord via Rangers.
